Apple - Aperture - Pro performance with iPhoto simplicity.
Apple has just announced a long due update: Aperture 3. Just digging into the feature set but the major ones are Faces and Places ala iPhoto, and Brushes for nondestructive editing.
I have been looking into switching to Lightroom, but with this update the switch may be more difficult.
